Came in Unterhaching to relax and have fun, this hotel was comfortable base for doing it. Every person working here was VERY HELPFUL. Liked how very clean the room was. Free parking was a good bonus.

The hotel was great in general. Near to the downtown, 5 minutes on foot. The best place to stay when in Unterhaching...

The hotel is located in a peaceful residential area, away from noise and traffic. the train station, though a 10-minute walk, is easily accessible and will get you to Munich in no time. the rooms are decorated in a classical and charming fashion, with comfortable beds. the breakfast is extensive and the staff are friendly and helpful.
The hotel reception is attended part-time only, so there is no assistance available in the evenings or at night.

The Schrenkhof is a small and very friendly hotel. It's traditional Bavarian style make a welcome change from the normal characterless corporate hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly, the rooms are spotlessly clean and whilst they are traditional is style, they have all the modern amenities you need when you're travelling.

It was clean and authentic in its Bavarian flavour!
I couldn't use the internet, although it was included in the offer! There is no receptionist between 9 pm and 8 am! For the price they charge, in the 21st century it is unacceptable not to provide free access to internet! I was also quite disappointed to learn, that they intend to charge for internet use from September the 1st 2011! I think, they are in for a surprise and still to realise in which year they live! Cheers!

The breakfast was good and there were a few nearby restaurants to choose from. The hotel's location was also nice as it was surrounded by greenery.
The hotel was too old-fashioned for my taste with too much wood in the rooms. The bathroom was also very small, and it was difficult to get into the bath.

This hotel offers incredible value for money. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. Additionally, the attention to detail in this hotel is outstanding. The rooms are decorated with rustic furniture, giving them a charming and cozy atmosphere. The highlight of my stay was definitely the four-poster bed in my room. It was so comfortable and added a touch of luxury to my stay. The hotel also serves a delicious breakfast with options for vegetarians, which was a great start to each day.
All was great, no improvements needed.

I really like the traditional bavarian feeling inside the hotel. The room was beautiful with wooden wall decoration and the breakfast room was charming in traditional style. The breakfast was really good with lots of choices and the service great too.
I expected the hotel to be placed more in a nature area, since the inside furnishing is very traditional, but it felt almost like it was in a kind of industrial area. But the positive things of the hotel made the visit very nice anyway.
